The Quality of Commercials is not Strained

IX Indoor Amusement park. WEWS "Catch 5" jingle. Norton Furniture. 687=1660. Mark had a gangster sounding voice. Was afraid to buy a futon from there just because I expected a body to fall out when I unfolded it. Empire flooring "1-800-EMPIRE". " Geagua Lakes the Place" "If You Haven't Seen Higbees Today" "Call JG Wentworth, 877-Cash-Now!" "Liberty Ford. OHHHHMMMM" "Mike Bass Ford" "Patio Enclosures" "Uncle Bills" A jingle you can square dance to! Bonus points if you can name the DJ doing the TV ad.

Didn't Mullinax Ford used to have a catchy radio jingle? I can hear the beginning in my head, and I think it went to Mullinax, but I honestly can't remember much beyond the intro.

Speaking of catchy introductions, who can remember the Sohio "snow alert" soundtrack?

"Ed Mullinax is a friend of mine..." was how it started and was sung by country singer with a heavy southern drawl. I don't remember much else because it was so nauseating I always changed the station when it came on.

It was sung by Jim Owen, and it started: "I've got a Ford on my mind, mind, mind. Ed Mullinax is a friend of mine."
