For anyone who cares to know...

I've heard that Scott Gaines is still out of a job. He recently auditioned for the Mavericks Announcer gig but lost out.

Alexis just recently scored a full-time gig at The Eagle, as to what she will be doing, I understand running the board for the morning show while doing traffic updates along with some live/voice-tracked shifts probably overnight or during the weekend.

Rex on the Radio, the part-timer weekend dude was snatched up by KISSFM as soon as the station flipped to "i93". I understand he was a CHR jock with Cumulus before and was let go due to Jan Jeffries wanting Billy Bush on at night on all Cumulus CHR's.


If anyone else has updates...feel free to pass along the info.
 
Wow, that Eagle opening was barely even published, but glad to see Alexis land on her feet. Scott/Chulo could have handled the i-93 gig just fine, had they even given him a chance. Sheesh, he prospered on the old Wild 100 doing the very same music.

Wish Scott could come back up here to work in Detroit. He is a great talent and really could work in any format.
