The R&B Leader for Central Texas

One thing Central Texas has been lacking is a good "new R&B" station. Most of the stations that play R&B around here lean heavy to the hip-hop format (and there's nothing wrong with that... I happen to like hip-hop). The only station I can think of in Central Texas that doesn't is Kiss 103.1 in Killeen, and they aren't exactly *new* R&B (they also air R&B oldies quite frequently). Due to the lack of airspace for this format, my company has filled this void by creating Power 92 JAMZ! This is a station targeting the 25 - 49 demo and broadcasts live on the internet at Power92Texas.com. If you are into newer R&B music and want to give it a listen, I'd appreciate any feedback (we just went on the air, so there may be some bugs to iron out).
 
Nice. I love R&B music. To me, I don't see why there aren't more stations strictly with an R&B format. Hip Hop has so much garbage in it these days. I wouldn't mind dumping it entirely. I gave your station a listen, good stuff!
 
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. You'll find a hip-hop song on Power every once in a while (maybe twice an hour out of 16 - 18 songs), and we'll play R&B songs featuring a hip-hop artist, but it's mostly R&B! ;D

So is this an internet only station? If not, what is the frequency?
 
You are correct, this is an internet only station. The "92" comes from our 92 minutes of non-stop music in a row! ;D
 
Very creative, and I'm digging it. The music you play is what I can relate to.
