The Rabbitt

This one I can relate to, since Jimmy Rabbitt came to Dallas from 1490 KGKB in Tyler. To paraphrase a old bit that aired one evening on the Mighty 1190 KLIF back then:

GM: "Put on the tape of that kid from Tyler, Texas."
PD: "OK, here ya' go..."
(SFX: Sound of sawing lumber...more sawing...and more sawing...and still more sawing...)
PD: "What do ya' think?"
GM: "Well, he's not bad. But I don't think he'll cut it in a big market."
