I know Marty and Joe are part of the past...but I think it would be fun if they would do a Best of the Banana Phone or Best of Marty and Joe as a time filler. The Adam Dunn stunt is one that comes to mind first.

I noticed that WING in Dayton does not carry all of the games. Is this unusual for a Reds Radio affiliate?

I know it happens a lot in the fall with high school sports on smaller market affiliates. There may be something WING airs that takes presendence over Reds broadcasts. Have no idea what it would be.

I would love to see them stick with Tommy and Jeff not this rotating cast of analysts.
In the classic years it was Marty and Joe not Marty and who do we get today.

They almost have to be. There are areas in that market, many areas, that get a better signal from WLW than WING at night ... and probably during the day as well.

Unless they ever take Brantley off TV, I don't think this is changing any time soon. I like when Welsh comes over and does some radio games. He's better on PBP than Brantley and has a good rapport with Thrall, just like he did with Marty. And TV allows Brantley to stick to analysis, where he excels.
Plus since Thrall does every game, there is more stability. I never begrudged Marty for taking more time off as he got older, but because he did they had to have a deeper bench with Jim Kelch et al.
