I could see a small AM station like WCVG or WCIN being sold to a Spanish group in the future. Plessinger just sold off the FM stations he had. WCIN is not doing well in the advent of WDBZ maybe they will go Spanish. Right now, I think the cincinnati market could not support a full time station given the size of the spanish population.

Spanish baseball might be a good idea for Homer to package and make some dinero (LOL) with. They don't have many listeners at night, and anything beats the unlistenable, non-sports Phil Hendrie Show.

I personally enjoy Phil Hendrie, I think the man is a Genius. However I never could figgure out why he's on Homer.

I also love Margaret Gray, Ted Bell (of "Ted's of Beverly Hills"), Lloyd Bonafide, R.C. Collins, Bobbi & Steve Dooley, and of course, WYSTLE.
Hendrie's a genius. I wish he was on in real time, but then it would be late at night and my mommy says I have to go to bed.

Why did WCIN apply for a CP to seemingly do nothing to their day signal and turn their night signal into less power with nulls around every corner?

They moved
Their original 5000 watt signal is on Glenwood Avenue, but they sold the property to a developer. The new signal is on the south side of Ronald Reagan Highway between 75 and Winton. They had to make some changes to fit the new site. Look at the Radio-Locator maps and you can see it's moved west.
The problem is, they don't have the money to complete it, so they've got some ridiculously low power on an STA. <P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by Oscar on 08/22/05 05:19 PM.</FONT></P>
