The Regular Guys Ripping off Giant Brian!!!!

First TRG rips off Stern, then they ripped off Lex andTerry and now this. How shameless! But at least the like Japanese they know how to take an idea and improve on it.

After reading the thread about the Giant Brian producers I went to the Project website, just curious as what is going on at that station. What did I see splahed on the front page but Shaffee TV. Giant Brian's sidekick hosts a series of videos available on their website or on YouTube.

Seems very similar to Southside Steve TV albeit with poorer production and less interesting topics. So I think that Giant Brian must be mocking them. I go to You Tube and discovered that Shaffee TV was started in October long before the TRG return meaning a TRG rip-off of Giant Brian.

If it matters the top video for Shaffee has been viewed 893 times. The top SSSteveTV show has been seen 29,711 times. I guess that means their ratings will be 3.5 times higher than Giant Brian's. Of Steve's 55 or so videos only a couple put on in the last week have less views than Shaffee's best.
 
Ever heard the term "parallel development"?

And just b/c Stern pioneered a style/format that means no one for the rest of time can do anything that resembles it? Where is that written?
 
Chill out. The Stern and Lex and Terry things are long running jokes. They even spoofed Stern today talking about it. The Good Guys as he called them.

why trg would copy projects bits and website is really stupid. next ss steve will be shaving his ass like shaffe talked about doing.
thats as good as it got for the minutes i heard project today.

no 99x. trg on the air. shaffees hairy ass. this really is the beginning of the end.

This thread could be a huge boost and rocket them past 900 views!

BTW, the math implies TRG having 33 times the ratings. It wouldn't surprise me if it were even more lopsided in actual listenership. TRG and Rock 100.5 are each respectively very good and doing everything well. 96.1 has a sense of confusion with that stupid classic rock crap mixed into a potentially good format, the Giant show has to fight that weakness as well as compete with the best morning team in history. Maybe if the music format wasn't screwed up more folks would give the Giant show a chance, poor guys.
