The return of Carl P. ??

Rumor on FB that Carl P is coming out of retirement..I do know that within the last month he has joined FB AND has a couple of pages..if not more bubba, carl p. etc..anyone hear anything..and where he might re-ignite ???

He has posted that a "radio announcement" is coming soon. Where would he fit?
Country or classic rock/hits? I guess he hasn't pissed everyone off.

i was just curious about the rumors around face book...probably just that...rumors..he had a carl p and a bubba skynerd page up

Possibly...the Citadel/Cumulus merger may create an opportunity to
bring him back. I think Carl started a Facebook page over a year ago and
he posted on occasion. His page and Bubba's are now being updated frequently.
How old is Carl P anyway? 60 at least. Don't think it matters too much. Despite the ego
and the stories of how difficult he was to work with, he's one of the greats
of Nashville radio. I do think he "retired" with much more to say and do.

On his Facebook page, Carl P. keeps talking about coming back and keeps referring to "The Storm".

Cumulus Huntsville WWFF station flipped today from "The Wolf" to 80's/90's "Journey 93.3" after stunting for a while this morning as what was described as a 'Classic Country' format called "The Storm".

Could it be a complete coincidence or a hint of things to come?

word is that he has purchased all of the top floor apartments in the Stahlman Building. What could that mean?

or at least country..i wonder if Carl has been talking to Old Bud ?? Either way he's gonna need a first rate newsman.. ;)

tough to be Carl's newsman...if he won't let you in the studio during the big show ;D

Recycled air talent....
Although he owned it for many years, time to move on.
Are there any Rick Dees, Gerry House type of LOCAL air talent out there anymore?
And if there are, is any broadcast company willing to pay them?
