The RETURN of Robin and Maynard

Never.Next.
AMEN! Why oh why do people in this town keep wishing for the return of lousy radio personalities like these two?

I know, I know...I was just jerkin' yer chain...When you go to their website, all you see is THAT framed funnie, but you can't SAVE it as a full jpeg from there.......now you can...

I have to admit that they were good in their time, but that time has passed. Even Pat O'Day realized he'd been to the top of the mountain and it was time to seek other mountains to climb.

I only wish that we had some new information. If they are truly over, I would like to know. If they're coming back somewhere, I would like to know. I'm a faithful fan and will follow them where ever they go, but I would simply like more information.

Here's the news. They'll work in Seattle never again.Next.Why must you beat this dead, no ratings, no talent horse?

I just got an email from Big Ed. Their website is updated and they will be taking phone calls this Wednesday (5/10) from 7 to 9 PM. The number is 877/NUTSACK. You can call now to leave a message with Roy.

If Robin takes the calls, be rest assured the phone number won't have any hairs on it...

I called the 877 number to check - it's for real...However you have to press "0" to leave a message....

If the calls aren't going to be aired, because R&M are NOT on the air, then who cares?
Perhaps they will be aired at some point. Until I hear definitively from them, I hold out hope that they will come back to the radio.

My money is on some sort of Internet Broadcast/Podcast as I recall Big Ed was building a brand new Studio in the Ranch House when they were interrupted...

I don't think even Robin can sue the Internet, can she?

Podcrap with Robin and Maynard

They posted about 45 minutes of audio on their website this afternoon....They didn't ever drop hints about where they are going, but asked almost every caller "would you goto satellite for us?". She *once* said "like sirius or something".XM is rolling out regional talk stations in conjuction with Clear Channel later this spring/early summer. Thoughts????

So let me get this straight: A morning show that hasn't been able to get good ratings on a FREE signal is going to move to a PAY service.Uh-huh.
