Looks like Ben and Skin have made Sybil Summers a part of their show... Oooooo that's gotta hurt PnK...

Makes me wonder just how great are her supposed business ventures, if she needs to take a step back in her career to help a low-grade midday show.....
I smell desperation on both sides.

tomficker said:outlaw luckily for you the minimum wage is set for another increase next summer so don't believe Gavin when he says your doing such a great job we're going to increase your pay to 7.25. Your blind faith in this station that I imagine runs you around like crazy while paying you crap is just plain scary.

That's a pretty ignorant thing to say unless you know the details of her business ventures.
She's still working for Texas Motor Speedway during the racing season. She also still has her promotional company which is not only very successful in Dallas, but has expanded to Houston as well.
I don't see where her picking up another gig with a mid-day show (in addition to everything else she has going on) is 'taking a step back in her career'.
And I also don't see where adding a female, ESPECIALLY one who has a history of being loved by listeners in the past at KLLI, to an all-male mid-day show is 'desperate'. Seems like a good move to me. I doubt they are expecting her to 'carry the show', as you say. The show sounds pretty stable and formatted to me. However, they NEED a female voice/perspective on a mid-day show that's geared towards males. Common sense. Why not find one who has a following already?

Are you her personal accountant? You're trying to tell me that someone who is so successful that she is expanding her business doesn't have anything else better to do than talk with two chumps about their sports views and what a good hooker should look like?
She has her following. I'll give you that, but before you call me ignorant, you might want to take a look in the mirror. Obviously, I'm not the only person that feels that your views are obviously skewed and biased. You seem to be too close to the people there to give an intelligent, unbiased opinion.
None of us have any friends there nor work there. So, we have nothing to gain/lose by our opinions. We're giving our honest opinions.
They could be excellent folks off air, but to me, their show is horrible and the station is in shambles. Judging by the amounts of postings about how bad the show is and how A LOT of people have turned that station off after years of following, I'm not alone.
So, adding her to an all-male cast is a good thing that will boost their ratings? What does Jasmine bring to the morning show? Nada. So, adding a female doesn't necessarily mean a jump in ratings when the two MAIN guys are not funny at all. She should go back to focusing on her promotional work....because being on that show/station doesn't sound like she knows how to promote herself all that well.
80sQueen said:Aww isn't that sweet.... She'll be glad to know that you're researching to make sure she's doing okay.
80sQueen said:But yet again - You failed to actually read before replying. I COULDN'T care less what you think of my opinion. I look at the facts as they present to me, and I make my own assessment and opinion - thus is the function of this board.
80sQueen said:Oh - and I never said that you compared Jasmine to Sybil. I compared the fact that adding a female does not automatically give you stellar ratings.
80sQueen said:If you do actually work there, as people have inferred....it's no wonder why that station's so horrible.![]()
