The River 105.9 pitching up music

I think The River 105.9 is pitching up some of their music. They played "All Summer Long" by Kid Rock earlier and it sounded different from when I've heard the song on other stations - Country 92.5, Kix 100.9, Lite 100.5, and when I used to spin it at The Club in Wolcott.

With digital editing, there should be no reason to "pitch-up" the music anymore! Sheesh. That is so 1980's!
