How deep is the River's playlist?

I've listened a few times and there seems to be a lot of repetition for "10,000 Songs in a Row".

Any question on who will do morning drive time when they go
to DJ'S?? I have thought maybe "Lex and Terry" since they
are on Cox Stations throughout the Southeast.

That feels right. If Cox played every song in the rotation, each song would be repeated every one and one-half days.

Lex & Terry moved across the street to Clear Channel. cox no longer syndicates them. Plus, they don't make sense for their target market. Drunk Bitch Friday on "The River"...that's mixing two different kinds of pus%$.

I anticipate the station will not get any prominent personalities. The jocks will talk music and keep it fairly minimalistic. Cox does keep ad loads down and there will be only about eight minutes of ads per hour on the River compared to 10 on other Cox stations in Atlanta.

I do hope they swap out songs on their modest playlist more often than they do at B98.5.

The only thing deep about The Rivers playlist is the *&^$%#$# which is the playlist!<P ID="signature">______________

I am already way over this station. It SUCKS. It is such a shame that a PD does this with a blowtorch signal.

300 songs. What in the hell does Cox think drove people to XM in the first place? Folks that grew up with the Doobie Brothers were listening to stations like 96Rock, 94Q, and even WRAS - all of which played a variety of music. For the love of Elmo Ellis, give us a surprise track sometimes!
