The River's New Night Guy

I think his name is Mike Perry, i heard him on the air tonight. Does anyone know if hes in house or where he is Voice Tracking from? Oh and they were actually playing some good Classic Rock for a change.

Oh Yeah....he is "in house" alright. He has a full time board op too. And a music librarian to help pull those great "classic rock" CD's for him. And the music is freshly tested locally and the big TV campaign to support Mr. Mike Perry hits the tube tonight. It's real radio done right, and its all from a company that just canned 2,500 employees since January.

And that "good Classic Rock for a change" you heard...that Dobie Gray "Drift Away" to Elton John "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" segue at 9:15 was really rockin'.

Are you nuts or are you Brian Taylor?

I heard Dobie Gray's Drift Away this afternoon followed by Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall. Great programming CC! Wait a minute...Dobie Gray??? On 100.7 The River??? Freakin' idiots! Good times, great oldies! Fail!
