The Rock 100.5 Morning Show w/Bailey and Southside

I noticed they changed their moniker this morning. I also noticed Tim Andrews has been missing for quite some time now. What happened to him?

As of this AM he was not on their website:

I guess he was "quietly" let go. With restructuring coming most likely soon, even talent with contracts can be axed. Yes Axing talent will help a quarter or two, but if Cumulus ever wants to succeed they will have attract good talent. Based on the past, if I had an offer from Cumulus or anybody else, (assuming similar pay), anybody else would win my services. Cumulus (or the successor) will end up playing more than they should due to their past treatment of employees.

IMHO: Demoralizing your employees is not going to lead to success.

I was listening to Eric Von Haessler's show on WSB two weekends ago and I thought I heard him make a reference about working with Tim Andrews again, but I am not positive.

"the bosses asked Andrews to fill the executive producer job on top of being the funny voice guy. But Andrews, he said, wasn’t comfortable in that role. “Tim’s enormously talented and we love the job he did here but his role changed,” Shannon said. “He was not happy. You could hear it on the air.”"

In other words, Cumulus wanted Tim to be executive producer without giving him a raise.

The show seemed it's best when it was Larry, Eric, Seabass, Tim, Southside, and Brandi. I know Seabass was the only one in the bunch offered another job but the rest were let go except for Brandi and Southside. Wish they could bring this group back together. I know it will never happen but I feel they should have never been let go in the first place. I seems that Cumulus found them too political and racy but I think that's what drew all the listeners and ratings in the first place.
