To the real Eye-Man, Ira...actually to all! Hi, Steve. Hi, Mike. Et al. I think I slept through most of the summer...missed some intereting repartee. Anyway, Ira, you may have already noted that the special rhyming toast to Bud was completely captured on video. NOT for YouTube...but, for our interested pals. I just happened to be seated at the point to where the podium was moved. Bingo! Roll memory disk! I would not care to tell just how long Bud and I have been friends. Long enough to know that his story would be a great role model for young folks wanting to have a broadcast career. The video can be seen at http://www.radiohomecoming.com/protoplasm.html. Otherwise, I promise to click the "RI" shortcut (now on my desktop) frequently. The 40-year KVIL reunion is shaping up very nicely for all crews from 1968 - NOW!...not for just us rickety vets.

I have many memories of KVIL as a listener.
