...And it looks like a majority of them must've have a great vacation.

Top 40: KSFM(Rhythmic) still rules the roost with a wide lead, while KDND(Mainstream) overtakes KBMB(Rhythmic), separating them by a point. This race should get more interesting, especially with Tommy Del Rio leaving the Bomb.

News/Talk: KFBK also opens up a wide lead to retain the top spot, while sister station KSTE inches up a bit. KNCO also gained slightly.

All Talk: Both KSAC and KTKZ also saw gains.

Sports: KHTK also picked up a few points.

Smooth Jazz: KSSJ lost a few points.

AC: KYMX still leads KGBY but both suffered losses. Both are now a couple of shares within each other.

Christian: Contemporary Christian KKFS slipped a bit, as did Christian Talk sibling KFIA.

Classic Hits/Rock: KSEG is flying low, but should benefit from the next book now that KHWD has "Jack"-ed its Classic Alternative format(the latter was up in what will now be their last in this format).

Alternative: The 'new' KWOD made no change, but with KHWD out of the picture that could change.

Active Rock: KRXQ on the other hand had a excellent jump this time.

Adult Top 40: KZZO also stayed the same this time.

Oldies: KCCL had a slight slip. BTW they were back at the same number they had in the '04 Summer book.

Meanwhile Rhythmic Oldies rival KHYL made gains this time.

As for '80s KXCL, well lets say they really lost some 'spark' this time.

Spanish: All three Regional Mexicans(KTTA, KRCX and KSTN) were off, while Spanish Contemporary KXSE stayed the same.

Country: KNCI was up slightly, but good enough to best last Summers' number.

Ethnic: KJAY shows up out of nowhere.

Out of towners: KGO-AM was up, while KNBR and KSFO had a couple of slips.
