The saga of KNUZ...ending?

I'm almost afraid to mention this until it's complete, for fear of it not coming to fruition, but it looks as though 1090 KNUZ/Bellville is being sold. Thank you to our fellow poster, and friend jd for the information and the link.

jd would be able to elaborate more on this development, as there is more to the story, which involves the relocation of COL to Hempstead, and movement of 105.3 to destination unknown.

Is KTWL heading to Bellville? Some sources state that Henderson is moving a station to that COL. Would obviously involve a new transmitter site, if such is the case (currently about 5 miles south of Navasota.)

Assuming similar signal coverage, it would give 105.3 much better coverage of the western half of Houston metro, but still a small fry compared to the big sticks.

Not sure mediafrog. More than likely, and this is strictly my opinion, Bellville will lose out all together. I would figure 105.3 would shift towards the Bryan/College Station market, and 1090 would re-focus on Austin, Waller, and NW Harris Counties from the new COL of Hempstead.
