The Savage Nation is back

Not a regular listener to the Dr. but if KSTE had him, what kind of billing did they have? We all know a station's not going to pick him up unless they can sell him to clients.

Actually it is the Modesto/Stockton Market. And unless they sold it, They still own KESP-970 in Modesto which is an All Sports Station "ESPN 970". I don't know why they are not listed? Since it is a Sports station, Savage will probably won't air there, though Savage was on then All Sports KTRB-860 in San Francisco. I am almost sure the Cumulus is also a distributor.

I think he's actually doing 3 hours live again. That last prerecorded hour drove me nuts at times.

I at first was very happy to hear Michael Savage again, although barely using terrestrial radio. Closest station I know of that has him is his first conservative home of KSFO 560 in SF.

Yes, I know we can stream online nowadays, yet there's something so much easier about the "portability" of an AM radio anywhere. I can just leave it on, hear it throughout the house / office / car, esp. during an unexpected interruption like needing to look under the kitchen sink.

His new timeslot is a bit odd, it just doesn't work out right for me. 3PM to 6PM Pacific was far more convenient. Now he interferes with dinner, so ironic since he likes to talk about food a lot and other stuff besides just politics. (Meatballs, anyone?)

So is KSFO his only affiliate in CA right now?
