This is the quiet time...just before the storm! Like Mr. Postman says, everyone is just waiting for Ron to be gone from the building (hopefully with a big smile on his face) after which many now secret changes will be launched. Brian and the boy(s) are betting that it's REAL hard for Ron to hear Dallas radio on a ship in the middle of the Pacific. Ron's best "last words" to Infinity as he hands back his security card on June 24th might well be "Beware my WRATH!" Any bets on how long he and Nance are "on the boat" before Ron and Mel jointly announce Ron's return to radio on Sirius?

Come to think of it, they might all need to beware of Jody's wrath too!"

I thought that was a silly idea when I first read it, but now that Mel has signed Cousin Brucie to Sirius....

Considering Mel 3 years ago(approx)bought Ron's house,Car,and boat in Fla,plus often had social outings together with their wives. Ronmayhave a studio built (or being built) on his property south of Dallas for this. XM did it for Bill Mack in Arlington.

That would make sense to me. Even if Ron only did one or two years, the goal would be for the fans of his show to make the switch to Serius, and then get sold on the product.

Ron could give a testimonial that while he and Nance were on their boat at sea, he suddenly realized how nice it was to have satellite radio while you travel around the world.

Yup, and Infinity ticked off a lot of folks in NYC by imploding WCBS. They should've torched WNEW (KVIL Smokey's old station) instead. WNEW's ratings are suckin compared to what WCBS had (a 3.4 for WCBS-FM compared to a 1.6 for WNEW).
