The funny thing was WTVJ promoted it more than WFOR and WTVJ got the crummy signal. I also like the way the started promoting the fact you can hear channel 6 audio at the edge of the FM dial. Naturally I've known about that for years but never heard a station promote the fact.

With the coming of Digital TV signals will WTVJ be able to put a digital signal at the Dade/Broward line like the rest of the Miami stations?

WTVJ IS putting a digital signal on from the Antenna Farm, on channel 31, WTVJ-DT. It was said that they waited to move the CP from Homestead to the Dade/Broward line so they don't have the same reception problems as they do now.

It's about time. Of course, it's a good thing that they'll be dumping Ch. 6 altogether in favor of 31-DT when the FCC finally calls the deadline, no matter where the transmitter is. No matter where you are, anywhere in the country, Ch. 6 is just a crappy frequency unless you live under the tower.

Post 920 dedicated to WMNI, Columbus, which can be heard during daylight hours every day at my location in southern Michigan.
