What I understood by the article I read is that PBS can air the episodes the same day when Netflix airs it on their streaming service on the same day but not before it airs on Netflix.

Great news, as I enjoyed the original. I always appreciate Canadian shows that don’t hide the fact they’re Canadian shows.

Picky point: Only the first two seasons of the original series aired on Ion, the other three were on Ion Plus which had more limited distribution.
