The shuffle ... a stunt?

If true, that means "The Shuffle" was nothing more than a stunt.

So then "oldies " will be wiped out?

With Fabulous 690 going away, it makes sense. They'll be the only game in town, if anyone cares to listen or any ad agency cares to buy it.

It is a truely bad idea to go back to standards. There is hardly any market for it (regular normal standards) and also, this is AM radio we are talking about. Saul, please just stick with the oldies!

What do you mean " going away " ? I haven't heard anything on that. Do you mean going off air or going to the weaker 690 signal?

Clear Channel had to let go of XTRA 690. The FCC made them, as they controlled too many signals in the San Diego area...
