THE SINGING "GOOD GUY" IN BOSTON RADIO

The original WMEX (1510) had some very interesting personalities pass through it through the 1950s and 1960s, when it was the dominant Top-40 station in Boston. One WMEX "Good Guy" was Ray Lynn, a 24 year old DJ who came in early 1967 from WKDA, Nashville. This guy was also a singer and had a recording contract with Epic (Columbia; CBS subsidiary) Records at least two years before coming to WMEX. He recorded a very nice, IMHO, ballad called "Miss Temptation", which should have been a moderate hit, at least, but wasn't. I've included a link to it posted on "You Tube". I also located a picture of Ray Lynn taken in 1967 at WMEX. You can see a bit of the board and equipment from back then, when it was at 115 Broadway, Boston.
