The Ski Lift Has spoken..

Okay, So I went Skiing today (Satuday) at okemo,
5 years ago you used to be able to talk about NYC radio on a chair lift and what someone's favorite DJ was.
5 years later he I am asking the same question do you listen to radio anymore?
Most people I talked to were from NJ.
to my surprise some listened to q 104.3 most were WDHA rockers. others I talked were all about mp3's No satellite radio. so I asked why don't you listen to radio. simple answers like "too commercialized" but the biggest one I got was because their tired of listening to Classic Rock. K-rock came up a lot since many people that ski Okemo are from the NYC area. the biggest answer I got was the repetativeness and no active rock anymore korn, orgy, etc .
WSOU came up a couple times however most were out of their listening areas
there who needs research Just ask people on the chairlifts...
Have a Nice day

-OZ ;)

Ahh, but that would be too easy :). You've gotta spend $4,000,000's on market research and surveys, otherwise it doesn't look like you're doing
your job :)...

That's the executive way of thinking :). Like those idiots who spent $5million renaming the Verizano bridge :)..

Good points, but who renamed the Verazanno Bridge?

I think he meant the Triborough Robert F. Kennedy Bridge. What a great way to spend taxpayer money that was, and during a severe financial crisis to boot.

oh geez... I am glad we don't have tolls in CT... MTA going my way if I go to NYC ;)

I suspect it will still be known as the Triborough for a long time to come. On traffic reports, I've heard it called the RFK/Triborough Bridge.
