The Snap door spins again

Word out of Snap world programming headquarters is the booting of the morning and afternoon air talent.

Programming wizard Brad Carson is in charge of finding world class talent to replace the previous set of world class talent he hired.

...and minutes after the news hit, the radio-info site temporarily crashed! Coincidence? I think not!

I don't know the past or why people sarcastially refer to Brad Carson as "Programming Genius" and the like; I've seen it on here many times, too. But I will say this about Brad Carson:

Brad gave me a shot, though short lived, and helped me get my foot back in the door in Memphis radio. He was never anything but nice and helpful to me, he coached me, helped build me up to where I needed to be at that point and always offered constructive criticism while also offering praise in those areas I excelled. That made a guy who had normally been part of a two person show feel a lot better about the business.

So whatever anyone has against Brad, that's your thing, but I'll tell you that I have never known a PD to go out of his way to help someone or work with someone like Brad Carson did and does.

Ladis and Gentlemen...
I now present to you...
THE ALL-NEW "YUMDIALER!"

;D

It's a loooong story, dude.
Don't get these people started.

The station is doomed. Nothing has ever happened of significance on that frequency. The PD is not calling the shots in that building. It's Citadel.

Citadel has had some very bad programming decisions in the past. Cool Pop in Harrisburg was a disaster and Snap is modeled after that.

Their country programming guru is in Nashville, while they are the third rated country FM in the market.

That should tell you something.

That Citadel must be pretty crafty. They've apparently duped Entercom into running SNAP's studios and paying all the employees.

THINK OF THE YOUNGSTERS!
