The Song Name Game

Mr. Tambourine Man: William Shatner
(it's classic Shatner talking his way through the song - pretty funny)
Wasn't that part of an album collection? I seem to recall there were several similar songs, one of which was Bread's "If" as sung(?)/spoken by Telly Savalas.

On with the countdown ... ]
No Milk Today -- Herman's Hermits

Ed, late 60's he did some Shakespeare-type things on a solo album, and also Lucy in the Sky. I remembered the album cover and found a small pic of it. (attached). I didn't know about it until around 74 when I first got into radio. Funny and strange. I also recall in the 90's a version of Everybody Wang Chung Tonight spoken by Kelsey Grammer (funny).

Now, on with the countdown:
No Sugar Tonight: Guess Who

For Once In My Life -- Stevie Wonder

@ron: That Shatner tune, as well as a few others are on a compilation by Rhino Records:
Golden Throats. It's definitely something Dr. Demento would have played. Probably something you might want to drag out after the gummies kick in!
