The Song Name Game

Shine On You Crazy Diamond -- Pink Floyd

Daryl: There's no apparent connection between your song and the previous one, "Diamonds and Pearls." The basic rule of the game is that each song submitted must share at least one word (or name) with the one just before it. I'm continuing from scanman's entry.

(Still Crazy After All These Years was a Paul Simon solo song, not Simon and Garfunkel.)

When I posted my song the most recent song that was showing was Diamonds and Pearls - The Paradons. It was posted by scanman1.

Diamonds and Pearls

So, that's why I thought of the Rihanna song, "Diamonds". My song, #21,005, has to connect to song #21,004, "Diamonds and Pearls." It has to have one of the same words in it.

So, I thought of the song "Diamonds", because the previous song was "Diamonds and Pearls", and the two words "Diamonds" are in each of the songs. Those two words "Diamonds" are the same - is this correct? I want to make sure I'm doing this right. Thank you -- Daryl

Now I wish I'd taken a screen shot of what I saw as your post-Diamonds and Pearls entry, because it definitely wasn't Diamonds -- Rihanna. I just cannot recall what it was right now. Did you enter some other completely different song minutes or even seconds earlier, then change it for some reason, only for me to be the unfortunate one who clicked on the thread during the interval between your original and corrected entries? If not, I have no explanation for what happened, but I've had the same thing happen to others before when they've joined the thread just before I changed an erroneous entry. Anyway, I'll continue now from Homeward Bound,
