The Song Name Game

Now I wish I'd taken a screen shot of what I saw as your post-Diamonds and Pearls entry, because it definitely wasn't Diamonds -- Rihanna. I just cannot recall what it was right now. Did you enter some other completely different song minutes or even seconds earlier, then change it for some reason, only for me to be the unfortunate one who clicked on the thread during the interval between your original and corrected entries? If not, I have no explanation for what happened, but I've had the same thing happen to others before when they've joined the thread just before I changed an erroneous entry. Anyway, I'll continue now from Homeward Bound,

This Train Is Bound For Glory -- Woody Guthrie
Glory Days - Bruce Springsteen

If someone goes back and edits a message on this board, then a notation appears on the bottom right of the message " last edited at such-and-such a time. For example, look at your message # 21006 Shine On You Crazy Diamond, with the little message on the lower right as to when it was last edited. But on my post #21,005, there is not an editing notification.

That editing was done after I noticed that I'd posted "Shine On You Crazy Diamond -- Pearl Jam" rather than "Shine On You Crazy Diamond -- Pink Floyd." There was no nefarious intent. Facebook allows you to see the specifics of editing history; unfortunately this board apparently does not. At this point, I'm not sure if I'm being gaslighted or was in fact briefly delusional when I saw what I swear was something that was not the Rihanna song as your #21,105 (not 21,005 and mine was, and still is, 21,106 and not 21,006, but those wrong number are typos), but I guess I'll just have to accept it as a glitch in the time/space/reality continuum, shrug and continue. It's just been one of those days. Hey, that reminds me of a song!

One of Those Days -- Whitney Houston

These Are the Days of Our Lives -- Queen

Hi, Thank for the correction about the message numbers. They are indeed # 21,105 and # 21,106, as you stated. My bad.
I do not think you had nefarious intent; nor would I gaslight you. That would not serve any purpose for me, as this is just a fun game to pass the time. 🙂 It's good exercise for the brain, and it keeps the mind active.
I have noticed that during the busy daytime hours, especially in the morning when several people are playing, that the messages can scroll by pretty quickly.🙂 -- Daryl
P.S. Oops, I had to edit this for spelling. So you'll see a notation in the corner. - D.

Separate Lives (Love Theme From White Nights) -- Marilyn Martin & Phil Collins

No editing notification seen on your #21,123!

Warm Ways -- Fleetwood Mac

(The conversation about editing posts looks like the obscure NFL rulebook.! This site gives you one hour to edit posts, but it would be better not to make changes in this game. The only time I do is when simultaneous posts happen. Someone gets in moments before and I make a song title change if necessary...)
