The Soul of Philadelphia

One of the greatest thing to happen for oldies fans in Philly has been the return of WDAS-AM. The big soul station of the 50's and 60's, replaced by its FM in the 70's, is now R&B oldies 24/7. No long infomercial weekends, just the same great music.

Live dj 6-noon, the long time great dj Butterball v/t noon-6pm. They do a great job blending soul from the 50/60/70's.

Agreed that music is very good. Bobby Holliday morning show has a bit more personality than Butter's voicetracks. Would be great to hear some other WDAS legends (at least doing voicers), i.e. Jerry Wells, Gary Shepard.
