The Sound makes way for The Breeze!!

94.1 has a new SOUND this morning. It came on as "The Breeze", running an AC format.

This really sucks. Another decent listenable station down the drain for us Tulsans. All that i listen to now are The Spy and RSU Radio 91.3, and a bit of rock 103. The edge seems to be on its last leg also. I would love to see the edge be what it fully can be, and go true alternative and drop the mainstream rock BS trying to compete with KMOD. but that will never happen, i see the edge going away soon, or getting more watered down by corporate crap.

The problem is there's no money in a true alternative format anymore.

I gave the breeze a listening the other day and I must say they sound good.Although I was a little shocked when I heard that 94.1 the sound was gone.

Agreed, it actually sounds pretty good. The Sound was a station that didn't know what it wanted to be. It was time for something different.
