And let the games begin. But let's play nice or you get 10 minutes time out in the sand box. And no cookies at snack time... ;D

Wellllllllllllll...since the book doesn't arrive until May 06, and
since the trends have been embargoed for eons, let's make
some interesting introspection: :-\

1. KGBY will be down, and will continue going down; the
posters on the (Hartford) Connecticut board have been
lamenting on the Clear Channel situation there, and I see
GBY heading down the same path...

2. KBMB will be down...

3. KFBK may start going up by the following book, due to
Ed Crane's arrival. He's good, and will be a shot-in-the-arm
for that station!...

4. KHTK will be up a few ticks, but will start going down
when the Mike Show (or whatever replaces Don And Mike
on 1140 KC) makes its presence known this Summer...

5. KZZO will be up slightly, if the $25K contest is a true
listeners' magnet...

6. KCTC should go up, depending on where the previous
GBY "traditional A.C." listeners went...

7. If there is a voracious appetite for RiverCats baseball,
then 92.1 should go up a few ticks. Speaking for myself,
"GO, 'CATS!"..

8. Jack (KQJK) had a big boost in the last book, and will
go up a few ticks, also...

OOPS! Make that Mix 96.1...
I'm still tryin' to break the habit of calling it KCTC after all these years...
thanks, Dave...

While we're at it, I predict 1320's ratings will be indifferent in the
next book...they REALLY should get the A's (which can be
operated via computer automation), or have they?
(I hear NO promotion for it on-air if they are, and their website
is literally non-localized - blah!)

I know KHTK 1140 carried the A's, but just part-time (weekends, and
maybe nights)...before-and-after that KSAC 1240 A's broadcast fiasco
lasted a mere year...

ESPN 1320 carries ESPN's national game of the week every Sunday, along with summer double-headers, the AL and NL playoffs and the World Series. From what I've heard, there just hasn't been much interest from listeners to warrant covering the A's and pre-empting regularly-scheduled programming. Plus, you would have to schedule the A's broadcasts around ESPN's NBA playoffs and finals, along with College Game Day every Saturday during September/October.

i've noticed some new changes at KHTK, even though the changes are subtle, i wonder if this will make a difference in the ratings. especially in the evenings.

i'm also interested in seeing what kind of difference the election coverage has made in KFBK's ratings.
