Gotta admit the times Nurse Jeff and I miss KFYI's Barry Young can be counted on one finger. Broomhead has really developed as a talk talent, and Babinski has proven he's more than just TNBO's sidekick.
However, we do miss Young's sarcasm when it came to the Arizona State Fair. "Who's your baby's daddy" night at the Fair..."Bring your concealed weapon" night at the Fair...and "Guess what's deep fat fried on a stick" night at the Fair were classic. Even more impressive was the fact the State Fair continued to advertise on KFYI in spite of the daily skewering by TNBO.
So enjoy the freak show every day at the State Fair, and think of the special theme nights coined by Barry Young (sax-fake studio audience clap, clap, clap..)
