The strangest year ever?

I was sitting around at lunch with a few friends this week, several of whom are current/former radio staffers. We got talking about all the changes locally in the last 6 months. Has there ever been so much change in such a short time in Central PA? This was always a market where things felt pretty stable.

Here's all the big moves we could think of, but I'm sure we missed a few. Feel free to add any others.

Smooth Jazz 92.7 flips to Classic Rock
WWKL and WTPA swap frequencies
Chris Tyler out of the River after almost 20 years
WARM ditches it's format and becomes a WINK simulcast
WLAN changes it's morning show
Total Traffic replaces all the local reporters in Harrisburg with Allentown traffic
Citadel merges with Cumulus

Everyone feels like the changes aren't done either. Most of us felt that 106.7 is going to flip, and who knows what other changes will come with the Cumulus takeover?

WLEV in Allentown (Citadel AC) is teasing about a new morning show starting 9/15. Anyone in HBG think Cumulus might syndicate Denny + Sue from Wink? With the merging of these two bankrupt companies I would agree more changes are coming; can't imagine many will be good.
