The Studio Of The Future

It's a great song with inspiring lyrics. Love the KM-56 on her vocals. I wish they still made those faders on the console too.

What's the purpose of the EV 642 boom mic in the shot?

Is the engineer awake?

Agreed, where is the drummer? That was shot way before Roger Linn invented the drum machine.

And the song is also known as "The Sheep-Herders Lament."

Haven't seen a "Pram" microphone boom in years, when we threw ours out.
(God, it's nice to see a music video on TV, that's not just miked with a few Shure's for looks.) ;D

Studio of the future? Crap. I thought you were going to show a rack in the transmitter room with an automation PC! (Ofcourse I know your not talking about radio on this post).

You're thinking of a transmitter with a built-in iPod dock. ;D
