They did a few months ago (when it was on the air) I think they found the audio quality left much to be desired... Guess WALE didn't meet ICE FM's standards... ;D

What's more disturbing?

A.) That ICE is up and running or

B.) That the "Southern New England 50kw Powerhouse of Local Talk with Big Ange, Big Bird, Nibbles Woodaway, and a player-to-be-named-later, etc." - 990AM WALE isn't even good enough for a pirate station??

Steve tells me that at the time 102.7 was being simulcast on 990, the phone loop from the studio to the 990 xmtr site was messed up. He'd gotten that fixed before 990 was knocked off the air.
