The three sports stations

If you had to pick from one of the three sports stations to listen to all day what shows would you listen to and why? For me it would be 103.3 "Ben and Skin" from 9-11, then Josh and Elf from 2-3, then based on content I'd listen to the ticket or back to the fan. Thoughts?

I don't listen to any of them----BORING.

Then why make a comment.

I am a KTCK P1. Only time I switch off The Ticket is to listen to the Dear Crooner on KKDA or when KTCK talks baseball.

Musers until
Elf and Josh
BaD Radio
Hardline

I do listen to RAGE when the Hardline is on commercial. RAGE is getting better.

Ben and Skin from 9-12

Galloway and Company from 3-6

I can't get a great signal from KTCK, but if I could I would like to hear what people are talking about, maybe I would change my opinion and choices on who to listen to.

I am with this post allllll the way!!! What kind of robot listen to the same sports news, stats, etc the entire day?!? I'm bitter because most of my favorite "hot talk" DJs are gone and have been replaced with sports talk. Seriously, what the hell? "Hot talk" deals with everything under the sun, so of course I'll have my radio at work all day. I try to listen to the sports talk and find that it's non-stop discussions about the same jock that had screwed up in one way or the other. Yes..that s#@$ is boring!

Sports radio is boring as hell. No real content, just stats and fact about men that play childrens games. Millionaires that whine about not being paid enough an GM's that charge you arm and a leg to attend a game. I'll pass.

Doesn't the ratings already answer this question? Isn't The Little Ticket killing the other two stations in Men 25-54??

The Ticket isn't the same news and stats all day. As a matter of fact, it is the closest you will find to "hot talk" in this market.

This is the truth. What makes the Ticket so special is that the station refuses to just talk sports. Since Pugs and Kelly are gone, the Ticket is about the only place that you can hear "hot talk."

When I did fantasy football and NCAA brackets, I'd split time between ESPN and the Ticket. They may be generic and dull, but you can't beat Mike and Mike for national sports info.

Now that I've let those things go, it is all Ticket- unless the kids are in the car.

The Fan is just flat bad. The hosts are marginal at best and the callers are so dim that they make me lose hope in humanity. Seriously- more than ten minutes on that station makes be depressed.

You know it all comes down to preferences. Some folk like KTCK, KESN or KRLD-FM and some folks don't. We all have OUR specific reasons for liking a radio station or not. I love R&B music, especially the New Jack era of R&B. But there is really not a station in D/FW that plays that era of music in a consistent rotation to satisfy my needs. So I have to use my iPod or SiriusXM radio to entertain that desire. It's about what you like to listen to or not.

Normal sports radio can get tedious and boring..thats why the ticket does so well

Courage Boys
Newy
2 Live Jews
Rage

Rage is a decent alternative to the icepick to the forehead the Hardline has become, but it seems Richie Whitt is trying too hard at times. I guess he's still learning radio.

When I lived in piss-ant markets, I could deal with radio hosts who still had their training wheels on. This is DFW, not Ft. Stockton. If CBS can't put a ready-for-drive-time host on the air, why the heck should anyone tune in?

I'd like to go down on the record at his time your honor with the following statement if I may...,"Pugs and Kelly really suck...like badly, and should never ever again be compared to any content found on KTCK" Thank you for your time
