The title is never heard

I had the same thread a couple years ago but can't get into any old archived stuff

I remember having "Almost every instrumental" as one post. Not "Tequila" though.

"Theme from The Dukes of Hazzard," Waylon Jennings (although the subtitle "Good Ol' Boys" is heard).

As for instrumentals, almost anything beginning with "Theme from..." is probably eligible for inclusion here.  I would not include any instrumental that is nothing more than an instrumental version of its vocal counterpart.  Therefore, "A Taste of Honey" by Herb Alpert and Tijuana Brass, and "Memphis" by Lonnie Mack would not qualify.

A handful of instrumentals that would qualify for a mention here include:
"Joy" by Apollo 100
"A Fifth of Beethoven" by Walter Murphy & the Big Apple Band
"The Happy Organ" by Dave "Baby" Cortez (more of a descriptive title, if there ever was one!)
"Flying," the Beatles (the Beatles also had a couple more instrumentals on the Anthology series; one was "12-Bar Original" or something like that)

Also, anything beginning with "The Ballad of..." would probably also rate a mention here, as would almost anything with the title "The (whatever) Song," such as "New Song" by Howard Jones (even though there is no "the" in front of that one).

are we talkin' about instrumentals or songs with vocals that don't mention the title in the song.

sound tracks such as Hawaii 5-0, hill street blues, and so forth.
Love is Blue- Paul Mauriat

Has anyone mentioned "The Banana Boat" song - Harry Belafonte?

Untitled-D'Angelo
Several Species of Small Furry Creatures Gathered Together In a Cave & Grooving With A Pict-Pink Floyd
Sirius- Alan Parsons
Run Like Hell-Pink Floyd

Patrón Añejo might not have been heard, but "tequila" is the last word of the song, as well as its title. And it can definitely be heard, loudly and clearly.

Baba O'Reilly- The Who
When I was a kid I always thought the title was "Teenage Waistland".

Deep In The Motherlode-Genesis

This song was released as a single with the name "Go West, Young Man (Deep In The Mother Lode)" with a different version of the song.

MFSB, "T.S.O.P." This one is predominantly instrumental, but despite the few vocals, did not contain the title. It was obviously the theme music for Soul Train, the hippest trip in America, but Don Cornelius intentionally did not want the words "Soul Train" in the title. If "Soul Train" (or even "Theme from...") had been the title, it would not have qualified for a mention here, since the vocal version does indeed include the words "Soul Train." Cornelius later had second thoughts, wishing that he had indeed made the title "Soul Train," after it became such a big hit. All this information came from a special on Soul Train that I saw on VH-1 Classic not too long ago.

"Beginnings" -- Chicago...has "beginning," but I'm not sure the exact title is heard in the song.

Another S&G: Don't think I've seen "59th Street Bridge Song" in this thread.

Doobie Brothers, "Long Train Running," a "big train running" is mentioned near the end, but no "long train."
Also close near the beginning: "...See that long train run, and watch it disappear..."
