The TJ Show on Amp Radio

It's official. TJ begins on 103.3 AMP Radio on Monday, April 1st. The show will run from 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Do you think it will be just TJ on the radio? Also, with him coming from the Elvis Duran morning show do you think he will have any special segments on the show. Any co-hosts??

Heard one today...he interviews somebody "from Southie" and asks her what she listens to. She says Matty, and he encourages her to give him a chance.

Amp hires morning co-host

Lauren Raye, formerly of the Elivis Duran show, will join The T.J. Show as T.J.'s co-host beginning Monday.

He's famous, if that's the right word, for being part of the Elvis Duran Morning Show on Z100 in New York City.

Being a NY'er and knowing of TJ's work in Elvis show. He was the kid who was the "Cool College Kid" hip and in the know. That's it! He wasnt like there SKEERY JONES or Danielle. I say expect another Morning show of crank calls like BTQ-Baltbusters, JAMN-Jam Scams.. Funny thing is John Lander of then 98.5 BMX brought those to Boston with then called Nutcracker's, when he got to Boston from NY in 1995 also from then Z100's Morning show.. Elvis Replaced him the following year..

Wont happen you have a better chance of seeing Baltazar and Pebbles going somewhere in ratings... Welcome to Boston... The New York effect was left in NY... Boston is yawning now. Pointless and took cbs way to long to even add on air talent to begin with. (yawn)

I think the way to do it is bring in a strong show and build a following, but realize you won't dent Matty. In the meantime you grow it and wait for the big guy to retire, then the competition begins.

It's like in sales, "Mr. Customer, if we can't be your #1, we hope you'll think of us when it is time to consider an alternative" ...

I'm assuming that's what CBS is building up here and possibly with 104.1.
