The Tradewinds song "Mind Excursion" what was it's chart action nationwide? Any good? I heard it again today after many many many years. I liked hearing it again because I like it as a young kid. BTW: You can find it on You Tube.

"Mind Excursion" reached #51 nationally in 1966. In the Chicago area where I grew up I don't recall ever hearing it. The Tradewinds song that I remember is "New York's A Lonely Town" from 1965.
 
There was not a better song for cruising down the open road back in the day then New Yorks A Lonely Town. What a great start to a tune.
