The train-wreck that is being aired on WGN tonight

What in holy he-double-hockey-sticks is spewing over WGN right now (11:20 PM Chicago time as I write this)?!?!? Some '60s-era drivel that's been gone over time and time again since it happened. "The Bomb Shelter" hosted by the Black Hawks' Daniel Carcillo? Hopefully this isn't a regular program.

Carcillo needs to stick to hockey. This is unlistenable, and it doesn't belong on a 50,000 watt radio station. If Carcillo wants to go into broadcasting after his NHL career is over, he should be on Live365, not WGN. This is Amateur Hour at its worst (with apologies to Major Bowes and Ted Mack). ::)

I thot maybe they were going to sponsor an old-time public train wreck out in the Soo-Line yards in Franklin Park just south of Ir-rving Pk.Road. I'd be there pretty quick for a good trainwreck.

Not only is Carcillo a train-wreck as a broadcaster, apparently he is also a train-wreck as a hockey player. He's been suspended indefinitely by the NHL for an overly-hard hit on an Edmonton Oilers player. He also hurt his leg on that hit.

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought perhaps WGN was airing a documentary on FM News 101.1!

... which would be the shortest radio program in Chicago radio history. That sudden death overtime from that NFL game last weekend would probably be longer.
