The Twins on Sunny 106.1

I've not listened to them when they were on other stations in the past, but I've listened to them a few times on 106.1, and I'm telling you they are TRASH. If someone new to the area ever asks me which station has a good morning show to listen to, I'll tell them instead one station they should NOT listen to is 106.1 with the Twins. They are vulgar, rude, and arrogant. And that stupid, incompetent sports anchor who goes by the name of "Jacques Stropp" (at least I could never believe that's his real name)---he needs to get lost. I put 106.1 down at the bottom of the barrel with the morning "news" on WWL 870 AM. I'm tired of Bob DelGiorno claiming to be "news anchor" when all he does is sit and ramble on with stories from his personal life like his fishing trips, or he constantly gives his version of the weather forecast/report, when they already have the guys with Channel 4 come on the air with the forecast. He tries to focus the news broadcast around himself. Why don't they just have one of the actual news anchors be the "host" of the show. Or how about this, just stop the crap with the personal stuff, and stop taking calls. Anyone ever listen to 990 AM news--I'll tell you, THAT is what I call professional broadcasting.

I personally like Rob Huneter on WITX-690.

You refer to Bob D on WWL as a "news anchor." He's not, never have I heard him say he was, and I find it hard to believe that you think he is... he's a "traffic cop" and a "host," not a "news anchor."
His job is to move from one component of the mornng show to the next... and to ask listeners what they think about things, not to anchor the news.
David Blake and Sheryl Hart are "news anchors."
I just figured if you were gonna drink the "Hate-R-Ade" on WWL and Bob D, you might as well get the facts straight.

We do agree on the Twins... unlistenable to my tastes... but to each his or her own, that's what makes radio great.
