I still assume that Mickey Mouse is satisfied with the money they make with The Twister since it is their second priority country station. Ratings do not always tell the whole story and I am willing to bet this is the best revenue wise they can accomplish with 96.7fm. Only a feed of Radio Disney would be cheaper to run but they must make enough money with that signal to override Radio Disney potential.

I do not even think with the great signals that 94.1, 97.1 and 107.9 each have with spanish language formats that another rim-shot spanish language format would even do well at 96.7fm.

I wish they WOULD put Radio Disney on 96.7. Now that they have screwed up the audio on 620 and have useless MONO IBOC (what is the point of that?)

You should treat "The Twister" like a long, lost love.

Forget it.

It is a losing proposition.

The Twister? It is more like a duster, a tiny whirlwind in west Texas gone in minutes.

Of course, it will never happen.

But how about putting Air America on 96.7 and see if its ratings improve over what it garners on 910.

If the ratings improved, would that tell you something?

Just an intellectual exercise.

Go back to your Newsmax, Max, I mean Bruce.

ABC radio is having a fundraiser out at Irving mall. I was watching channel 8, and I seen boothes for WBAP, KSCS, KMKI, KESN, but no Twister.

The Twister has fulfilled it's goal. Pulling enough audience away from the Wolf to make the Race between KSCS/WOLF much closer. The Twister has taken a good portion of the 18-34 demo from WOLF. That was the plan all along.

Batdroppings:

Air America would do no better on 96.7 than they do on great signals in LA, CHICAGO, New York.

In NYC and SF they have great signals and they're dying. What do you expect from weasles like Al Franken and Jerry Springer.

The reason why the Twister wasn't there is because their audience is mostly kids and young adults who live in trailers. They have no money.(or teeth)

Speculation purely. You have no idea how it would perform unless it was tested. And great signals? Come on little balls.

> In NYC and SF they have great signals

You're repeating yourself. Take some writing lessons, grammar, syntax, logic ... the works.

The whole BALL of wax ... oh, and get the wax out of your ears.

Or The Big Balls of Fire ...

The Buck stops ... over there ... right Buck?

The twister is not going anywhere. They need a tax write off

Were the ratings they published factual?

I think I could put polka on 96.7 and it would rate better.

They had a big booth at the Plano balloon festival a year or two ago. No visitors. I would have gone, to lend support to fellow radio types, but to be honest I still miss "memories". Hey - if Sunny's last ratings were really greater than Twister, maybe they should take over the Sunny format and get a fraction more ratings.

DUDE You just painted your own self portrait.

What ratings Bruce? What the hell are you talking about?

Well, that's semi-funny to be kind, but in your words -- not factual.

And, yes, I know you want Radio Disney on 96.7. Why not contact the management about it then?

Remember the old movie, "The Last Man on Earth".

Well, Bruce was the last MAN to listen to both Memories and Sunny.

You must live in a trailer. Sorry to offend you, DUDE.

Nothing like an intelligent discussion of the merits of "The Twister".
