The use of derogatory word on tv or web blogs.

First of all everyone has a right to voice their opinions it is a free country but where do we draw the line? The past year i noticed an alarming new trend that frightens me when it comes to watching the news or reading the news media web blog, these sites or TV station's are allowing derogatory word to be used in describing a certain group, that is a hot topic at the (Sb1070) moment.I have emailed these station like fox10,abc15 that allow this word to used on their web sites or on a news story but they have not responded. My thing is they would not use derogatory words to describe other groups. What can be done to make these station see their error of their ways.

I didn't want to it but the word wetb@#ck has been used on the air or on web blogs.Sorry should have been more specific.Sorry the web monitor wont let me print out the word ,Thanks radio info.com for keeping this site clean and safe.

Which comes to this question -- if Radio-Info wouldn't allow you to say it, why are other, otherwise-respectable, news organisations allowing it on their websites or news shows? The use of that epithet towards Hispanics and Mexicans is just as bad as using similar epithets towards blacks, gays and women.

I commend Radio-Info for taking the lead (though they could go overboard -- such as you can't say "Dick Van D(y)ke" properly without being censored) -- it now seems that the mainstream media no longer cares.
