They are sounding more like....

An 80's station? Sort of, but not really. The processing is good, so the music "sounds" good.

I don't hear references to "Classic Dance" anymore, and hearing less of that music has greatly decreased my TSL.

You can't be classic dance, and play "Jack and Diane"

Who are they trying to position themselves against?

I'm guessing here: WAJI and WMEE.
Really if you think about it, they all cross over on playlists.
Why can't they go (Juan Bodley wishful thinking here): ALL METAL ALL THE TIME!!
I can dream, can't I?? ;D
