The Vibe of Vegas

nd2023

I'm glad to see it finally show up in the ratings. It can only go up as more people become aware of The Vibe's existence. It's amazing that this station lasted so long with a dance format despite no signal in Las Vegas proper until a few months ago. If it's static-free in car radios on the Strip, it will get a lot more listeners. I wish that its transmitter was 70 miles southwest of Vegas instead of 70 miles northeast so that the people who make the long drive between LA and Vegas would be able to enjoy it for a long time. I sampled the station online for a couple hours today, and I love the mix of music, it sounds almost indistinguishable from the Internet-only dance stations.

I'd like to thank the owners for believing that a pure dance format will work in Las Vegas. A format like this would make the top 10, and even the top 5 in major markets if it has a full signal and promotions.

Now I wonder which clubs in Vegas play music heard on 94.5 The Vibe...

I can't wait to come back to Vegas this year to check out this station... I went on August '09 and I got NOTHING on 94.5 on my walkman.
Usually when I'm there my walkman is usually locked on 98.5 KLUC.

What would make you believe that statement besides being an optimist? Do you have any hard evidence that a Dance Station would pull a big enough share in Vegas to be Top 10, let alone Top 5?

Well Mr. Parker.. Let's just find out - Hopefully Vibe isn't a) Financially over-leveraged (pulse) b)purchased during the big over inflated dot.com days (kngy) and owes a big chunk of change to it's lenders ... I really hope this station takes hold - IMHO, it sounds great, has spectacular imaging and just an over-all great feel to it - and a pretty nice looking website with a fairly active "watercooler" feature as well.

Go Vibe!
