The wait for Es is finally over!! 5/05/10

Last night, 5/4, I got my first E-skip opening of the season! Five new loggings were made! I know the west got lots of skip last night, so here's my logs!

89.9: KUNM Albuquerque, NM: Great signal at times w/ OM announcing a concert "in Albuquerque". Searched Albuquerque 89.9 on Google, and got it!
Distance-1189 miles!! NEW #101

89.9: KZAI Superior, AZ: Christian music w/ Air 1 IDs. Only full-powered Air 1 on 89.9, I think.
Distance-1125 miles!! NEW #102

88.7: KNAU Flagstaff, AZ: Classical music. Had to tune to 88.8 as IBOC interference took up 88.7 (and KNAU). Based on skip path.
Distance-1045 miles! NEW #103

91.5: KJZZ Phoenix, AZ: Jazz music with a woman talking for a long time between songs. Local-like signal at it's peak.
Distance-1132 miles!! NEW #104

96.9: KMXP Phoenix, AZ: Hot AC format, with ID "Mix 96.9". Checked today as I shut down my computer before I got 96.9. Mostly at an excellent signal strength.
Distance-1132 miles!! NEW #105

I also had a few UNIDs as usual.

88.1: UNID public station with Sound and Spirit public radio program produced by WGBH. Who would play it at 10PM MT time Tuesday (9PM PT time)?
TV5: Video fading in and out. XHAQ Mexicali?
92.1: Commercials in and out
90.5: Christian music fading in and out. No IDs.
Something around 95.3

All in all, a good Es night! Hope I get more openings this May!
