The Walrus sounding different lately

Geez, people bitch when stations play the same thing as everybody else in the format... then they bitch when a station plays stuff that isn't on every other station in the format. ::) Gimme a break.

Who is this terrible guy who is doing nights on the Walrus?? He is horrible!!! Why would they hire him rather than get the Greener? Mason is sounding good on middays and Frank is doing good. But sheesh that night time guy.

Is it Mark Becerra on weekends? I'd heard they were getting a new morning guy to replace Frank Anthony who
is supposed to be going into production full time. The new guy's named John Nolan. Is that him? Actually in My opinion, Becerra sounds pretty good. As for the Greener, I'd bet he would sound good at either the Walrus or Smooth-FM

Next week is the target. He's learning La Jolla, Jamachu, and Poway dialect.

No learning curve needed! He's coming from Vermont and MIKE SHEPARD sez "He understands the lifestyle and the interests of our audience..."

Such as leaf-peeping in the autumn, maple sap collection, boating on Lake Champlain and skiing at Stowe Mountain?

Oh, wait, that's what the audience in Vermont likes to do.....but if he watches some old Baywatch, Gidget and The OC videos before he gets here he should be full of understanding and anything he doesn't know he can learn by hanging out with Chip Franklin.

I thought Radio stations handed out the first season of Simon and Simon to acquaint them with the lifestyle of San Diego??

Is Chip Franklin even still on the radio??

Oh, the "Number 1 morning talk show host in San Diego" according to CC. Hmmmm, let's see now....being only one of two morning talk show hosts in the market (I assume KFMB 760 is still on the air) ??

please Chip Franklin is number one with the 65+ lesbian santa claus impersonators. No one else listens. Anyone that does tune into KOGO is hoping the morning news block comes back.

6-10 on KOGO (and combined with KOGO AM at the end of the year) averaged #3 in 12+ for the entire year... 12 books.
