The WAVE open house

I went to the WAVE open house Saturday. The studio was open and I must say this kid has nice equipment better then most radio stations.

5 PCs, 2 laptops, HD monitors and about 1000 LPs and CDs Turntables and everything.
There is a picture of Wolfman Jack with his Dad.
Did anyone else go to see it?

He may want to work in non-comm radio like WBMT then, etc. (not far away) Heck, I have done non-comm radio for almost 30 years and we have fun and play music not often heard on commercial stations. I'll play blues, and the guys on Sat night play doo wop, old country, classic R&B, etc...on a legitimate, FCC licensed station. My station also has
Spanish language, alternative, jazz, etc.

Why would anyone want to be on WBMT all you hear is F** this and F** that from the kids " when is on the air that is " and someone said WBMT will not let anyone in but students.

Well I was just saying the nearest station to him...right in the boxford/midd./top. area :) Who knows, maybe they could hire him (or have him volunteer) and he can straighten them out (though he was running an illegal station, though being under 88.1 it's debatable--and supposedly it was no harm to WMBR) ! Don't they (WBMT) have 700 watts or something?
