The WB makes changes.

It looks like a pair of WB shows have been pulled, as "Blue Collar TV" and "Living With Fran" are pulled from the schedule. However they are expected to return later this season since both shows have 9 unaired episodes.

I heard, but I'm not sure it is 100% accurate, that Blue Collar TV gets better ratings, adjusted for cable, when it re-airs on Mondays on Comedy Central than it does on the WB. I'm sure f it is canceled, Comedy Central will continue to produce new episodes.

I don't know if it's accurate either, but if so it makes tons of sense. Blue Collar TV is funny, but WAY off target from the WB's traditional teen audience.

What they should change is cut down and elimate all those very annoying pop up ads that they constant throw on the screen. I watched that Smallville show last week and it was outrageous that even on a new episode they "splash" them on the screen with some video in a small screen going on.

I don't get The WB's actions this season. They seem to be abandoning that traditional female teen target. They canceled Summerland, which I thought did well with that group, and made what seemed like several announcements that they were "welcoming all 18-49 viewers home to The WB", or something similar.

I also agree the "pop up" ads, particularly with moving video, on top of an actual show, are annoying.

WB is Killing Blue Collar TV

WB is killing Blue Collar TV. Seriously. I love the show and used to go out of my way to watch it, but now that it's in direct competition with Family Guy, it's no contest, I'm watching Family Guy. Other people might be watching ABC at that time.

Blue Collar TV is funny, but it's not funny enough to draw people away from one of the funniest show on broadcast television. If it had stayed on Thursdays, it might be better. Heck, any other day of the week and it would have been better.
