The whole AFTRA situation

I've noticed more and more non-corporate over the air stations are simply not blocking out the commercials with dead air, web only ads, music, etc. I'm wondering if maybe it's a non-union situation and the guidelines don't apply, or are AFTRA and the ad agencies realizing the internet gold mine they seek is just never going to suface, and it's better to be heard than not heard at all.
Edited by RadioFanBoy on 06/23/05 09:07 AM.
